Simply Knitting May 2008 issue pattern Tidy Twist I used cascade yarns 100% peruvian highland wool lana grande.Tidy away everything from the TV remote to your knitting in this little cosy that fits neatly over your sofa arm.I tried both a regular cable needle and the cable needle necklace the regular cable needle got in the way and sometimes it would fall out of the stitches it was holding. but the weight of the cable needle necklace held the stitches securely and down and out of the way.I used a chunky yarn that called for a size 17 needles but used 10.5 needles for this project the cable needle necklace worked great with the chunky yarn.I really enjoyed doing this cabling project.You can find them for purchase and 2 instructional video's on how to use the cable needle necklace here.
